Programs For Toddlers/Preschoolers and Parents
(Ages 2-6)
Sign and Dance! (40 minutes)
Warm up your fingers and your toes, and learn basic signs through joyful
stories, music, and activities. Kathy MacMillan leads this movement-
based program, which will teach little ones and their parents basic sign
language in an upbeat setting.
Let's Sign Together! (40 minutes)
Learn basic American Sign Language together in this interactive
storytime. Through stories and songs, we'll learn signs for animals,
emotions, and more. Flex your fingers and join in the fun!
Buggy About Sign Language (45 minutes)
Bring those squirmy-wormy fingers and explore the world of creepy-
crawlies through American Sign Language! Signing storyteller Kathy
MacMillan will share stories, signs, songs, and games all about our
winged and many-legged friends as we learn to listen with our eyes and
communicate with our hands and bodies.
Color My World with Sign Language (40 minutes)
Red, yellow, green, and blue…have we got some fun for you! Join signing
storyteller Kathy MacMillan for stories and songs that celebrate the many
colors of our world and introduce basic American Sign Language. Also
available as a program for all ages.
Flying Fingers of Fall (40 minutes)
Learn basic American Sign Language through tales of falling leaves,
squirrels, pumpkins and more! Signing storyteller Kathy MacMillan leads
stories and songs that teach about communicating with our hands and
eyes. Also available as a program for all ages.
How Do You Sign “Snow”?: Winter Signs (40 minutes)
Warm up those frigid fingers with stories, songs, and activities that
explore the snowy season with basic American Sign Language. Bundle up
and join signing storyteller Kathy MacMillan for the fun. Also available as
a program for all ages.
Once Upon a Sign (40 minutes)
Come away to a land of kings and dragons, queens and castles, and learn
signs through stories and songs of magic. Also available as a program for
all ages.
Sign Language Down at the Zoo (40 minutes)
Learn signs for your favorite animals and more as we explore the zoo with
American Sign Language! Introduce yourself to a monkey, make friends
with a tiger, and sign with a seal in this interactive journey, led by signing
storyteller Kathy MacMillan. Also available as a program for all ages.
Sign Language is Yummy! (40 minutes)
From Goldilocks’ porridge to our favorite kinds of pizza, this silly signing
storytime has something for everyone’s taste! Kathy MacMillan leads
signs, stories, and songs. Also available as a program for all ages.
Sign Language Safari (40 minutes)
Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Go walkin’ through the jungle and
learn signs through stories, songs, and fun activities for the whole family.
Kathy MacMillan is your guide on this silly signing adventure. Also
available as a program for all ages.
Signs of Spring (40 minutes)
Explore springtime with American Sign Language , from April showers to
May flowers and everything in between! Signing storyteller Kathy
MacMillan leads stories, songs, and more as we learn about
communicating with our hands and eyes. Also available as a program for
all ages.
Signs Under the Sea (40 minutes)
Dive into splashy stories, songs, and fun activities that explore the world
of underwater animals through American Sign Language! Signing
storyteller Kathy MacMillan leads the fun as we learn how to talk with
our hands and listen with our eyes. Also available as a program for all
ages.
Summer Signs (40 minutes)
The sun is shining, the air is warm, and we’ve got a slew of summertime
stories and signs just for you! Kathy MacMillan leads this interactive
program, where we’ll explore our favorite summer activities with basic
American Sign Language. Don’t forget your sunscreen! Also available as
a program for all ages.
The SIGN-a-long Sing-a-long (40 minutes)
Teach your fingers how to sing as we explore American Sign Language
through music and stories! Bring the whole family for the hands-on fun as
signing (and singing) storyteller Kathy MacMillan teaches you to sign
some of your favorite songs.
Little Hands Signing (40 minutes)
Each theme-based session introduces the benefits of signing with young
children, combining age-appropriate signs and activities with solid
